Furthermore, the widgets are interactive. You can turn off reminders, play or pause content. Additionally, you can add as many widgets as you want, and they resemble the ones you have on your iPhone. We are thrilled about this new MacOS Sonoma!

New lock screen

Another new feature of macOS Sonoma is its impressive new screen saver. You can enjoy slow-motion videos of landscapes, such as the Sonoma Hills in Northern California.

There are four wallpaper themes that improve the Mac experience by making it more personalised:

Life under water.
Urban Landscape.

What's more, the background will keep moving momentarily when unlocked. It's an incredibly cool effect! The new macOS Sonomate screen savers are going to blow your mind. I can't wait to try them out!

New dimension in video games

If you love video games, you're going to love this new feature of macOS Sonoma. The power of Apple's chips mean that we can enjoy spectacular graphics and out-of-this-world performance levels.

Developers will now be able to port their games from Windows to Mac in a matter of days, whereas previously it used to take months. What a breakthrough! Moreover, with macOS Sonoma's game mode, Mac prioritizes the processor and graphics, reducing the usage of background tasks.

What's new in Safari

To enhance the Mac experience, macOS Sonoma introduces some exciting new features for Safari. This update includes significant changes related to the browser. Private Browsing windows will automatically lock when not in use, allowing you to keep tabs open even when your device is idle.

In Safari, you have the option to create multiple profiles with their own unique themes, such as Work or Personal. Your browsing history will also be kept separate for each profile. Additionally, Safari now enables you to add websites directly to the dock, ensuring they are easily accessible at all times.
